...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW AND BLOWING SNOW IN EFFECT
FROM 8 PM THIS EVENING TO 5 PM AKST THURSDAY ALONG THE COAST...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN ANCHORAGE HAS ISSUED A WINTER
WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW AND BLOWING SNOW...WHICH IS IN EFFECT
FROM 8 PM THIS EVENING TO 5 PM AKST THURSDAY.

* LOCATION...ALONG THE COAST INCLUDING NUNIVAK ISLAND.

* SNOW...3-8 INCHES.

* VISIBILITY...REDUCED TO ONE HALF MILE AND LOWER AT TIMES.

* WIND...NORTHEAST WIND 15 TO 25 MPH. GUSTS TO 35 MPH DEVELOPING
  LATE THIS EVENING.

* TIMING...SNOW WILL INCREASE IN INTENSITY AND SPREAD ALONG THE
  ENTIRE COASTLINE BY LATE TONIGHT. WINDS WILL INCREASE DURING THE
  EVENING AND PEAK THURSDAY AFTERNOON. THE WORST VISIBILITIES ARE
  EXPECTED LATE OVERNIGHT AND THURSDAY MORNING WHEN SNOW IS
  HEAVIEST AND WINDS ARE STRONGEST. SNOW WILL DIMINISH THURSDAY
  AFTERNOON WITH SNOW CONTINUING BUT DECREASING IN INTENSITY.

* IMPACTS...TRAVEL MAY BE DIFFICULT. VISIBILITIES WILL BE LIMITED
  IN FALLING AND BLOWING SNOW.

* LOCATION...THE PRIBILOF ISLANDS

* SNOW...1-3 INCHES.

* VISIBILITY...REDUCED TO ONE HALF MILE AND LOWER AT TIMES.

* WIND...NORTH WINDS RAPIDLY INCREASING TO 30 TO 45 MPH WITH GUSTS
  AS HIGH AS 60 MPH.

* TIMING...WINDS RAPIDLY INCREASE AROUND NOON THURSDAY WHICH WILL
  BE ACCOMPANIED BY INTENSE PERIODIC SNOW SHOWERS. EXPECT
  VISIBILITIES TO FALL IN SNOW AND BLOWING SNOW.

* IMPACTS...TRAVEL MAY BE DIFFICULT. VISIBILITIES WILL BE LIMITED
  IN FALLING AND BLOWING SNOW.
