...Moderate to heavy snow expected through Sunday over portions
of the Inland Northwest...

A strong and wet storm system will bring snow at times through
Sunday. Heavy snow accumulations will occur in the mountains and
valleys of northeast and north-central Washington and over much
of the Idaho Panhandle. At times, this snow will be accompanied by
strong winds over the mountains.

Northern Panhandle-
Including the following locations Sandpoint, Bonners Ferry,
Priest River, Eastport, and Schweitzer Mountain Road

...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM PST SUNDAY...

* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Additional snow accumulation
  through Sunday afternoon 4 to 8 inches valleys and 7 to 14
  inches mountains. Patchy blowing and drifting snow Sunday.

* WHERE...Sandpoint, Bonners Ferry, Priest River, Eastport, and
  Schweitzer Mountain Road.

* WHEN...Through 6 PM PST Sunday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snow will make for difficult travel
  conditions. Although the snow should let up a bit on Sunday
  strong northeast winds gusting to 30 to 35 mph will likely lead
  to areas of blowing and drifting snow.

SUNDAY...

* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Additional snow accumulation
  through Sunday evening 4 to 8 inches valleys and 8 to 15 inches
  in the mountains. Patchy blowing and drifting snow.

* WHERE...Kellogg, Pinehurst, Osburn, Wallace, Mullan, Fourth of
  July Pass, Dobson Pass, and Lookout Pass.

* WHEN...Until 10 PM PST Sunday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Travel will be very difficult to
  impossible. Tree branches could fall. Winds gusting as high as
  45 mph will cause patchy blowing and drifting snow. Plan on
  slippery road conditions, including during the evening
  commute. Be prepared for reduced visibilities at times.

  inches with 7 to 15 inches near the Cascade crest. Areas of
  blowing and drifting snow in the mountains.

* WHERE...Leavenworth, Mazama, Twisp, Winthrop, Stehekin,
  Conconully, Blewett Pass, and Loup Loup Pass.

* WHEN...Until 6 PM PST Sunday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Travel will be very difficult in areas of
  heavy snow. Winds gusting as high as 30 mph over the mountains
  will also lead to areas of blowing and drifting snow Sunday
  afternoon.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Plan on difficult travel conditions due
  to snow covered roads. Additional travel problems could occur
  on Sunday as an arctic cold front delivers wind gusts of 25 to
  35 mph which could lead to patchy blowing and drifting snow.
