MUCH OF THE AREA THROUGH EARLY TUESDAY...

.A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL MOVE FROM CENTRAL SOUTH DAKOTA AND
CENTRAL NEBRASKA INTO THE MIDWEST TONIGHT. AREAS OF RAIN WILL
CHANGE OVER TO SNOW TODAY AS COLDER AIR CONTINUES TO MOVE IN...
HOWEVER A LULL IN THE RAIN AND SNOW IS EXPECTED THIS MORNING INTO
THE AFTERNOON. GUSTY NORTHWEST WINDS WILL PRODUCE BLOWING SNOW
LATER TODAY AND TONIGHT ON THE PLAINS AND ENHANCE UPSLOPE SNOWFALL
OVER THE NORTHERN BLACK HILLS. HEAVIER SNOWFALL IS EXPECTED ACROSS
THE AREA TONIGHT AND WILL CONTINUE THROUGH TUESDAY MORNING. SNOW
WILL END LATE TUESDAY MORNING OR EARLY TUESDAY AFTERNOON AS DRIER
AIR MOVES IN.

SNOWFALL TOTALS ARE FORECAST TO BE IN THE 6 TO 12 INCH RANGE
