...LINE OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS APPROACHING THE WATERS...

THE AREAS AFFECTED INCLUDE...

    MAUMEE BAY TO GENEVA-ON-THE-LAKE OH

AT 227 AM EDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A LINE OF STRONG
THUNDERSTORMS...CAPABLE OF PRODUCING WINDS UP TO 33 KNOTS OR
POSSIBLY MUCH HIGHER. THESE THUNDERSTORMS WERE LOCATED ALONG A LINE
EXTENDING FROM NEAR GROSSE POINTE TO NEAR DETROIT RIVER LIGHT TO 34
NM WEST OF LUNA PIER... MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 30 KNOTS.

STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE NEAR...
  PUT-IN-BAY AROUND 320 AM EDT.
  KELLEYS ISLAND AROUND 330 AM EDT.
  VERMILION AROUND 410 AM EDT.
  LORAIN HARBOR AROUND 415 AM EDT.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

THIS LINE OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL LIKELY PRODUCE WINDS IN EXCESS
OF 34 KNOTS...AND IS LIKELY TO POSE A SERIOUS HAZARD FOR BOATERS. A
SPECIAL MARINE WARNING WILL LIKELY BE REQUIRED WHEN THESE STORMS
REACH THE UNITED STATES WATERS. BOATERS SHOULD CONSIDER HEADING FOR
SHORE BEFORE THESE STORMS ARRIVE.

INTENSE LIGHTNING IS OCCURRING WITH THESE STORMS. IF CAUGHT ON THE
OPEN WATER STAY BELOW DECK IF POSSIBLE...KEEP AWAY FROM UNGROUNDED
METAL OBJECTS.
