A MARINE WEATHER STATEMENT HAS BEEN ISSUED FOR THE FOLLOWING AREAS...
NEARSHORE WATERS FROM WILLOWICK OH TO RIPLEY NY...
OPEN WATERS FROM AVON POINT OH TO RIPLEY NY...

AT 607 PM EDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A LINE OF SHOWERS WHICH AREA
ASSOCIATED WITH A COLD FRONT. THESE SHOWERS...MAYBE A FEW RUMBLES OF
THUNDER...ARE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING WINDS UP TO 30 KNOTS. THESE
SHOWERS WERE LOCATED ALONG A LINE EXTENDING FROM 30 NM NORTH OF
CONNEAUT TO 20 NM NORTHWEST OF GENEVA-ON-THE-LAKE TO 28 NM NORTHWEST
OF FAIRPORT HARBOR...MOVING EAST AT 30 KNOTS.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

MARINERS CAN EXPECT GUSTY WINDS UP TO 30 KNOTS...LOCALLY HIGHER
WAVES...AND POSSIBLY A FEW LIGHTNING STRIKES. BOATERS MAY WANT TO
SEEK SAFE HARBOR UNTIL THESE SHOWERS PASS.
