WESTERN BASIN OF LAKE ERIE...

THE AREAS AFFECTED INCLUDE...
NEARSHORE AND OPEN WATERS FROM MAUMEE BAY OH TO AVON POINT OH...

AT 319 AM EDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A LINE OF STRONG
THUNDERSTORMS...CAPABLE OF PRODUCING WINDS IN EXCESS OF 35 KNOTS.
THESE THUNDERSTORMS WERE LOCATED OVER SOUTHEAST LOWER MICHIGAN AND
NORTHERN INDIANA...MOVING EAST AT 30 KNOTS.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

THIS LINE OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL LIKELY PRODUCE WINDS IN
EXCESS OF 35 KNOTS...AND COULD POSE A SERIOUS HAZARD FOR BOATERS. A
SPECIAL MARINE WARNING MAY EVENTUALLY BE REQUIRED WHEN THESE STORMS
REACH THE WESTERN BASIN. BOATERS SHOULD CONSIDER HEADING FOR SHORE
BEFORE THESE STORMS ARRIVE.
