A GALE WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM THURSDAY FOR WESTERN
LAKE ERIE. A LOW WATER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON
THURSDAY.

* WINDS AND WAVES: SOUTHWEST GALES OF 35 TO 40 KNOTS WILL DECREASE
  THURSDAY MORNING. WAVES OF 6 TO 10 FEET WILL SLOWLY SUBSIDE ON
  THURSDAY.

* LOW WATER: SOUTHWEST GALES WILL CAUSE WATER LEVELS TO DROP BELOW
  THE CRITICAL MARK FOR SAFE NAVIGATION. WATER LEVELS WILL DROP TO
  NEARLY 3 FEET BELOW LOW WATER DATUM BY THURSDAY MORNING. WATER
  LEVELS SHOULD RISE ON THURSDAY. WATER LEVEL SHOULD RISE ABOVE
  THE CRITICAL MARK THURSDAY AFTERNOON.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

MARINERS SHOULD MONITOR THE FORECAST AND PREPARE TO TAKE
APPROPRIATE ACTIONS OR CONSIDER ALTERING THEIR PLANS.

A GALE WARNING MEANS WINDS OF 34 TO 47 KNOTS ARE IMMINENT OR
OCCURRING. OPERATING A VESSEL IN GALE CONDITIONS REQUIRES
EXPERIENCE AND PROPER EQUIPMENT. MARINERS WITHOUT THE PROPER
EXPERIENCE SHOULD SEEK SAFE HARBOR PRIOR TO THE ONSET OF GALE
CONDITIONS.

A LOW WATER ADVISORY MEANS WATER LEVELS ARE EXPECTED TO BE BELOW
THE CRITICAL MARK FOR SAFE NAVIGATION. VESSELS MAY BOTTOM OUT OR
BECOME GROUNDED. CONTACT THE COAST GUARD FOR THE LATEST WATER
LEVEL. MARINERS SHOULD USE EXTREME CAUTION OR CONSIDER WAITING
UNTIL WATER LEVELS RISE.
