EST TUESDAY. A LOW WATER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 7 PM
THIS EVENING TO 4 PM EST TUESDAY.

* WINDS: WEST TO SOUTHWEST WINDS WILL INCREASE TO 35 TO 40 KNOT
  GALES THIS EVENING AND CONTINUE INTO TUESDAY EVENING.

* WAVES: WAVES ARE EXPECTED TO BUILD TO 6 TO 9 FEET TONIGHT AND
  CONTINUE ON TUESDAY.

* LOW WATER: WATER LEVELS ON THE WESTERN BASIN OF LAKE ERIE WILL
  DROP WILL DROP BELOW THE CRITICAL MARK FOR SAFE NAVIGATION THIS
  EVENING AND REMAIN BELOW THE CRITICAL MARK FOR MUCH OF TUESDAY.
  THE CRITICAL MARK FOR SAFE NAVIGATION IS 2 INCHES ABOVE LOW
  WATER DATUM. RECENT AVERAGE WATER LEVELS ON WESTERN LAKE ERIE
  HAVE BEEN 26 INCHES ABOVE LOW WATER DATUM.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

OPERATING A VESSEL IN GALE CONDITIONS REQUIRES EXPERIENCE AND
PROPER EQUIPMENT. MARINERS WITHOUT THE PROPER EXPERIENCE SHOULD
REMAIN IN HARBOR OR SEEK SAFE HARBOR IMMEDIATELY.

A LOW WATER ADVISORY MEANS WATER LEVELS ARE EXPECTED TO BE BELOW
THE CRITICAL MARK FOR SAFE NAVIGATION. VESSELS MAY BOTTOM OUT OR
BECOME GROUNDED. CONTACT THE COAST GUARD FOR THE LATEST WATER
LEVEL. MARINERS SHOULD USE EXTREME CAUTION DURING LOW WATER
CONDITIONS OR CONSIDER WAITING UNTIL WATER LEVELS RISE.
