...SOME SNOW IS HEADED FOR NORTHWEST PENNSYLVANIA...

.A LOW MOVING UP THE EAST COAST WILL CAUSE SOME SNOW TO SPREAD
WEST TO NORTHWEST PENNSYLVANIA LATE TONIGHT AND THEN IT WILL START
DECREASING THURSDAY EVENING. SOME OF THE HEAVIEST AMOUNTS WILL BE
ESPECIALLY OVER THE EASTERN PORTIONS OF ERIE AND CRAWFORD
COUNTIES...MAINLY FROM ERIE AND MEADVILLE EAST.

EST FRIDAY...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN CLEVELAND HAS ISSUED A WINTER
WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 4 AM THURSDAY TO
4 AM EST FRIDAY.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...4 TO 8 INCHES BY LATE THURSDAY NIGHT. AN
  INCH OR LESS WILL FALL TONIGHT...3 TO 5 INCHES ON THURSDAY AND
  AN ADDITIONAL 1 TO LOCALLY 3 INCHES THURSDAY NIGHT. THE HIGHEST
  AMOUNTS SHOULD BE FROM THE CITY OF ERIE EAST.

* TIMING...SOME NUISANCE LIGHT SNOW OR FLURRIES WILL OCCUR EARLY
  TONIGHT AND THEN SOME SNOW WILL START SPREADING IN FROM THE EAST
  LATE TONIGHT AND THEN START DECREASING THURSDAY EVENING.

* WINDS...WEST WINDS WILL INCREASE TO 15 TO 25 MPH LATE AND
  CONTINUE INTO THURSDAY NIGHT.

* IMPACTS...SNOW ACCUMULATIONS WILL CAUSE SLICK ROADS...REQUIRING
  LOWERS SPEEDS AND GREATER DISTANCES BETWEEN VEHICLES WHILE
  DRIVING. THE GUSTY WINDS WILL CAUSE BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW.
  THE VISIBILITIES WILL BE BELOW 1 MILE AT TIMES.

SIGNIFICANT, THE WORD ADVISORY IMPLIES THAT SEVERE WINTER WEATHER

  ADDITIONAL INCH THURSDAY NIGHT. THE HIGHEST AMOUNTS SHOULD BE
  MAINLY NORTH AND EAST OF MEADVILLE.
