...HEAVY LAKE EFFECT SNOW WILL CONTINUE ACROSS THE SNOWBELT OF
NORTHEAST OHIO AND NORTHWEST PENNSYLVANIA INTO SATURDAY...

.HEAVY WEST TO EAST ORIENTED SNOW BANDS WILL CONTINUE OVERNIGHT
WITH SNOWFALL RATES OF UP TO TWO INCHES PER HOUR. THE PERSISTENT
HEAVY SNOW BAND THAT HAS BEEN LOCATED ACROSS NORTHEAST
CUYAHOGA...SOUTHERN LAKE...AND NORTHERN GEAUGA HAS FINALLY STARTED
TO DRIFT SOUTH TOWARDS CLEVELAND. BANDS WILL EVENTUALLY BECOME
MORE FOCUSED NORTHEAST UP THE LAKESHORE LATE TONIGHT INTO
SATURDAY AS THE FLOW BECOMES WESTERLY AND EVENTUALLY SOUTHWEST.
RAPID CHANGES IN VISIBILITY AND INTENSITY WILL OCCUR IN THE
VICINITY OF THE HEAVIER SNOW BANDS.

  EXPECTED OVERNIGHT WITH HIGHEST AMOUNTS FOCUSED ACROSS LAKE AND
  NORTHERN GEAUGA COUNTIES WHERE BANDS WILL BE HEAVY AT TIMES. STORM
  TOTAL SNOW...INCLUDING THE SNOW FROM THURSDAY...WILL AVERAGE 8
  TO 15 INCHES WITH TOTALS AS HIGH AS 24 INCHES IN EASTERN ERIE
  COUNTY PENNSYLVANIA.

* TIMING...THE HEAVIEST AND MOST PERSISTENT SNOW WILL OCCUR IN
  NORTHERN GEAUGA AND LAKE COUNTIES OVERNIGHT. SNOW BANDS WILL
  SHIFT NORTHEAST UP THE SHORELINE TOWARDS PENNSYLVANIA THROUGH
  THE DAY ON SATURDAY.

* IMPACTS...LAKE EFFECT SNOW AND SNOW SQUALLS WILL LEAD TO
  SIGNIFICANT ACCUMULATIONS OF SNOW AND VERY POOR VISIBILITIES
  AT TIMES. HAZARDOUS TRAVEL CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED.

* WINDS...WEST 10 TO 20 MPH.

* TEMPERATURES...NEAR 20 DEGREES TONIGHT. WIND CHILL VALUES
  FALLING TO 8 TO 12 DEGREES OVERNIGHT.

A LAKE EFFECT SNOW WARNING IS ISSUED WHEN HEAVY LAKE EFFECT SNOW
IS EXPECTED OR OCCURRING. DURING LAKE EFFECT SNOW...THE WEATHER
CAN VARY FROM BANDS OF LOCALLY HEAVY SNOW TO DRY WEATHER JUST A
FEW MILES AWAY. VISIBILITIES CAN VARY GREATLY AND CAN DROP TO
NEAR ZERO IN THE HEAVIER LAKE EFFECT SNOW BANDS. IF YOU WILL BE
TRAVELING IN THE WARNED AREA BE PREPARED FOR RAPID CHANGES IN

  NORTHEASTERN CUYAHOGA COUNTY TO NEAR A FOOT THROUGH SATURDAY
  MORNING.

* TIMING...SNOW WILL CONTINUE THIS EVENING AND BE HEAVY AT TIMES
  FROM DOWNTOWN CLEVELAND TO THE EASTERN SUBURBS. THE SNOW WILL
  START TO SHIFT NORTHEAST UP THE LAKESHORE LATE TONIGHT.

* IMPACTS...LAKE EFFECT SNOW AND SNOW SQUALLS WILL LEAD TO RAPID
