.A BAND OF LAKE EFFECT SNOW OVER LAKE ERIE WILL PUSH INLAND INTO
EXTREME NORTHEAST OHIO AND NORTHWEST PENNSYLVANIA TODAY. THE SNOW
WILL CONTINUE THROUGH TONIGHT AND GRADUALLY END FROM THE WEST ON
FRIDAY.

EFFECT SNOW WARNING...WHICH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 3 PM EST FRIDAY.
THE LAKE EFFECT SNOW ADVISORY IS NO LONGER IN EFFECT.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...FROM 2 TO 4 INCHES SOUTH AND UP TO 10
  INCHES NORTH.

* TIMING...SNOW WILL BE NEAR THE LAKESHORE EARLY TODAY AND THEN
  POSSIBLY SHIFT NORTH FOR A FEW HOURS THIS AFTERNOON BEFORE
  RETURNING LATE THIS AFTERNOON OR EARLY EVENING. SNOW WILL THEN
  PERSIST THROUGH THE NIGHT AND INTO FRIDAY MORNING.

* PERIOD OF MOST INTENSE SNOW...LATE THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT.

* IMPACTS...SNOW COULD ACCUMULATE RAPIDLY WHERE LAKE EFFECT SNOW
  BANDS PERSIST. VISIBILITY COULD BE SHARPLY REDUCED AND
  UNTREATED SURFACES COULD QUICKLY BECOME SNOW COVERED AND
  SLIPPERY. SOUTHWEST WINDS OF 15 TO 25 MPH COULD CAUSE BLOWING
  AND DRIFTING OF SNOW...MAINLY THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING.

  LESSER ACCUMULATIONS ACROSS FAR SOUTHERN CRAWFORD COUNTY.

* TIMING...SNOW WILL OCCUR ACROSS NORTHERN ERIE COUNTY AT FIRST
  AND THEN SHIFT SOUTH TO INCLUDE CRAWFORD COUNTY LATE THIS
  AFTERNOON OR EARLY THIS EVENING. SHOW WILL THEN PERSIST THROUGH
  THE NIGHT AND INTO MID DAY FRIDAY BEFORE TAPERING.

* PERIOD OF MOST INTENSE SNOW...THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING ALONG
  THE LAKESHORE AND TONIGHT INLAND.
