URGENT - WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE

SNOW WILL OCCUR TONIGHT AND THEN GRADUALLY TRANSITION TO PURE LAKE
EFFECT SNOW BY WEDNESDAY EVENING ACROSS THE SNOWBELT OF NORTHEAST
OHIO AND NORTHWEST PENNSYLVANIA. ARCTIC AIR WILL SPREAD ACROSS
LAKE ERIE AND SET THE STAGE FOR THE LAKE EFFECT SNOW. THE LAKE
EFFECT SNOW WILL SHIFT UP THE LAKE SHORE BY THURSDAY NIGHT.
REINFORCING ARCTIC AIR WILL ARRIVE IN TIME FOR THE WEEKEND AND
MORE LAKE EFFECT SNOW IS POSSIBLE.

EFFECT SNOW WARNING...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 11 PM THIS EVENING
TO 4 PM EST THURSDAY. THE LAKE EFFECT SNOW WATCH IS NO LONGER IN
EFFECT.

* ACCUMULATIONS...8 TO 12 INCHES OF SNOW.

* TIMING...SNOW LATE TONIGHT AND WEDNESDAY WILL TRANSITION TO
  LAKE EFFECT SNOW SHOWERS AND SQUALLS BY WEDNESDAY NIGHT AND
  CONTINUE INTO THURSDAY.

* IMPACTS...SNOW COVERED ROADS AND REDUCED VISIBILITY DURING
  HEAVIER SNOW SHOWERS AND SQUALLS. BLOWING SNOW IS
  LIKELY...ESPECIALLY IN THE THE SQUALLS.

* WINDS...WEST 10 TO 20 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 30 MPH.

* TEMPERATURES...LOWS IN THE SINGLE DIGITS AT NIGHT AND IN THE 20S
  FOR HIGHS WEDNESDAY TO TEENS AND LOWER 20S THURSDAY.
