URGENT - WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE

SNOW SHOWERS WILL CONTINUE TODAY. A COLD FRONT WILL CROSS THE
REGION THIS EVENING PUSHING THE HEAVIEST SNOW INLAND AWAY FROM
LAKE ERIE. THE SNOW COULD BE HEAVY AT TIMES...ESPECIALLY LATE
TODAY AND TONIGHT WHEN ACCUMULATIONS OF AN INCH OR MORE PER HOUR
WILL BE POSSIBLE. ACCUMULATIONS WILL VARY CONSIDERABLY BUT THE
GREATEST TOTALS ARE EXPECTED ON THE HIGHER TERRAIN INLAND FROM
LAKE ERIE. THE SNOW SHOWERS WILL SLOWLY DIMINISH IN INTENSITY AND
COVERAGE ON THURSDAY.

THURSDAY...

* ACCUMULATIONS...ACCUMULATIONS FROM DAYBREAK THROUGH EARLY
  EVENING WILL BE 4 TO 6 INCHES WITH MOST OF THIS OCCURRING LATE
  TODAY. ANOTHER 5 TO LOCALLY 8 INCHES IS EXPECTED TONIGHT WITH
  ANOTHER INCH OR TWO ON THURSDAY. STORM TOTALS MANY LOCATIONS
  WILL BE 12 TO 18 INCHES WITH LOCAL AMOUNTS IN EXCESS OF 20
  INCHES. THE GREATEST AMOUNTS ARE EXPECTED FROM NORTHERN GEAUGA
  COUNTY EASTWARD INTO INLAND NORTHWEST PENNSYLVANIA.

* TIMING...SNOW SHOWERS WILL INCREASE IN COVERAGE LATER TODAY AND
  THEN CONTINUE INTO THURSDAY. THE SNOW SHOWERS ARE EXPECTED TO
  DIMINISH IN COVERAGE AND INTENSITY ON THURSDAY.

* IMPACTS...SNOW COVERED ROADS AND REDUCED VISIBILITY DURING
  HEAVIER SNOW SHOWERS AND SQUALLS.

* WINDS...WEST 10 TO 20 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 30 MPH.

* TEMPERATURES...15 TO 27.
