  shore to US/Canadian border...

* Until 915 PM EDT.

* At 744 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Hammond Bay,
  moving northeast at 40 knots.

  HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater and large hail.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and
           suddenly higher waves. Large hail could result in
           structural damage.

* Locations impacted include...
  Rogers City, Observatory Point, Hammond Bay, Forty Mile Point, and
  Adams Point.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Boaters should seek safe harbor immediately until this storm passes.
