...HAZARDOUS THUNDERSTORMS IMPACTING THE COASTAL WATERS...

At 122 PM EDT, thunderstorms were located along a line extending from
near Hunting Island Reef to Edisto Sixty Reef to near Charleston
Sixty, moving northwest at 30 knots.

  HAZARD...Winds up to 30 knots.

  IMPACT...Expect briefly stronger winds and suddenly higher waves.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, lightning strikes, and poor visibility in heavy rain. Boaters
should seek safe harbor immediately until these storms pass. Put on a
personal flotation device.

A Special Marine Warning may be needed. Boaters should consider
heading for shore before conditions deteriorate.
