...HAZARDOUS THUNDERSTORMS APPROACHING THE COASTAL WATERS...

At 907 AM EDT, a thunderstorm was located over Wassaw Sound Buoy,
moving northeast at 30 knots.

  HAZARD...Winds up to 30 knots.

  IMPACT...Expect briefly stronger winds and suddenly higher waves.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, lightning strikes, and poor visibility in heavy rain. Boaters
should seek safe harbor immediately until this storm passes. Put on a
personal flotation device.

Report severe weather to the coast guard or nearest law enforcement
agency and ask them to immediately relay your report to the National
Weather Service in Charleston.
