.DISCUSSION...
Warmer temperatures will spread over the area today with lower 90s
on the caprock and upper 80s off the caprock. A dryline will form
and move to the edge of the caprock this afternoon leaving very dry
air on the caprock. With the warm temperatures, afternoon relative
humidity values will be less than 15 percent for areas west of the I-
27/US87 corridor. However, winds at the 20 foot level will be on the
relatively light side with values between 10 and 15 mph. Recent
improvements in ERC values below the 50 percentile will preclude any
fire weather highlights.
