...FUNNEL CLOUD SPOTTED OVER THE NEARSHORE WATERS...

AT 715 AM CDT...A WEATHER SERVICE EMPLOYEE REPORTED THAT A FUNNEL
CLOUD WAS LOCATED OVER THE NEARSHORE WATERS EAST SOUTHEAST OF
PORTLAND. THIS FUNNEL CLOUD WAS ASSOCIATED WITH A SHOWER WHICH
DEVELOPED ALONG THE LAND BREEZE. ADDITIONAL SHOWERS MAY DEVELOP
OVER THE NEARSHORE WATERS ALONG THE LAND BREEZE THIS MORNING...
BETWEEN BAFFIN BAY AND THE MATAGORDA SHIP CHANNEL...AND POSSIBLY
GENERATE ADDITIONAL FUNNEL CLOUDS.

MARINERS ARE URGED TO MONITOR FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF FUNNEL
CLOUDS THIS MORNING. AT THIS TIME...THE RISK THAT ANY FUNNEL WILL
REACH THE WATER SURFACE IS LOW.
