  RIVER LA FROM 20 TO 60 NM...
  COASTAL WATERS FROM SOUTHWEST PASS OF THE MISSISSIPPI RIVER TO
  PORT FOURCHON LOUISIANA FROM 20 TO 60 NM...

AT 715 AM CDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A STRONG THUNDERSTORM...
CAPABLE OF PRODUCING WINDS UP TO 33 KNOTS. THIS THUNDERSTORM WAS
LOCATED 26 NM SOUTH OF TIMBALIER ISLAND...MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 30
KNOTS.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

MARINERS CAN EXPECT GUSTY WINDS UP TO 33 KNOTS...LOCALLY HIGHER
WAVES...AND LIGHTNING STRIKES. BOATERS SHOULD SEEK SAFE HARBOR
IMMEDIATELY UNTIL THIS STORM PASSES.

INTENSE LIGHTNING IS OCCURRING WITH THIS STORM. IF CAUGHT ON THE OPEN
