AT 413 AM EDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED STRONG THUNDERSTORMS...
CAPABLE OF PRODUCING WINDS TO AROUND 30 KNOTS. THESE THUNDERSTORMS
WERE LOCATED ALONG A LINE EXTENDING FROM NEAR AR230 TO 7 NM WEST OF
AR255 TO NEAR THE VICINITY OF DAVIS...MOVING EAST AT 10 KNOTS.

LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE...
AR220...AR230...MONITOR MARINE SANCTUARY...AR250...OCRACOKE...
AR255...AR275...AR225...DRUM INLET...OCRACOKE INLET...DIAMOND SHOALS
AND HATTERAS INLET.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

MARINERS CAN EXPECT GUSTY WINDS TO AROUND 30 KNOTS...LOCALLY HIGHER
WAVES...AND LIGHTNING STRIKES. BOATERS SHOULD SEEK SAFE HARBOR
IMMEDIATELY UNTIL THESE STORMS PASS.

INTENSE LIGHTNING IS OCCURRING WITH THESE STORMS. IF CAUGHT ON THE
