Offshore Waters Forecast for Hawaii

Hawaiian offshore waters beyond 40 nautical miles out to 240
nautical miles including the portion of the Papahanaumokuakea
Marine National Monument east of French Frigate Shoals

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average height
of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be more than
twice the significant wave height.

.Synopsis for the Hawaiian offshore waters...
Surface high pressure will remain far N of the area into early
next week. The remnants of Tropical Cyclone Fernanda are forecast
to approach the area on Saturday, then pass across the N waters
from Sunday into Monday. E swells generated by Fernanda will
continue to spread across most of the offshore waters into Monday
morning.
