RECORD EVENT REPORT...CORRECTED TYPO
UPDATED NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE MELBOURNE FL
650 AM EDT SUN APR 30 2017

...RECORD WARM MINIMUM TEMPERATURE SET AT MELBOURNE YESTERDAY...

...AN ALL TIME RECORD WARM MINIMUM TEMPERATURE FOR THE ENTIRE MONTH
OF APRIL WAS SET EACH OF THE LAST TWO DAYS AT MELBOURNE...

THE LOW TEMPERATURE ON SATURDAY, APRIL 29TH AT THE MELBOURNE
INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT WAS 78 DEGREES. THIS BREAKS THE PREVIOUS
RECORD WARM MINIMUM TEMPERATURE OF 74 DEGREES LAST SET IN 2003.

THIS ALSO SET THE ALL TIME RECORD WARM MINIMUM TEMPERATURES FOR THE
MONTH OF APRIL FOR THE SECOND CONSECUTIVE DAY, ECLIPSING THE RECORD
OF 76 DEGREES, WHICH WAS JUST SET ON FRIDAY, APRIL 28TH.

TO ADD SOME PERSPECTIVE, THE TOP 3 RECORD WARM MINIMUM TEMPERATURES
FOR THE MONTH OF APRIL WERE SET THIS YEAR, AND THERE WERE 6 DAYS
THIS MONTH THAT RANKED IN THE ALL TIME TOP 10 FOR APRIL (THE OTHER
THREE ARE TIED FOR TENTH). IT IS QUITE POSSIBLE THAT TODAY COULD
ALSO WIND UP RANKING IN THE TOP 10, PERHAPS EVEN IN THE TOP 2 OR 3,
SINCE THE LOW SO FAR THIS MORNING HAS BEEN 77 DEGREES.
