...NOAA WEATHER RADIO IN CORPUS CHRISTI WILL BE DOWN WEDNESDAY AND
THURSDAY FOR NEW ANTENNA INSTALL...

The National Weather Service "All Hazards" NOAA Weather Radio
broadcast in Corpus Christi, Texas, which operates on a frequency
of 162.550 MHz, will be offline on Wednesday November 15th
through Thursday November 16th for the installation of a new
antenna. The tower and antenna, which is located on top of the
Wilson Plaza building in downtown Corpus Christi, was damaged
during Hurricane Harvey. The tower has been repaired, thus
technicians can now install a new antenna.

Once complete, radio coverage should be restored to a full range
of approximately 50 miles from the transmitter site. Backup
coverage may be received by tuning into the Riviera NOAA Weather
Radio transmitter at 162.525 MHz.
