Chilly temperatures this morning have ended the growing season
for the remainder of central Pennsylvania. The latest counties for
which the growing season has ended include:

Southern Clinton, Southern Lycoming, Union, Snyder,
Northumberland, Montour, Columbia, Mifflin, Juniata, Huntingdon,
Fulton, Franklin, Perry, Cumberland, Dauphin, Schuylkill,
Lebanon, Adams, York and Lancaster. The growing season had
already ended for the remainder of central Pennsylvania counties.

With the growing season having ended, we will no longer issue
Frost and Freeze headlines for central Pennsylvania until the
next growing season begins in the spring of 2018.
