...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Montana...

  Clear Creek at Chinook affecting Blaine County.

For the Clear Creek...including Chinook...Moderate flooding is
forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

The next statement will be issued Thursday morning at 1000 AM MDT.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL LATE TOMORROW EVENING...

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
  forecast.

* WHERE...Clear Creek at Chinook.

* WHEN...Until late tomorrow evening.

* IMPACTS...At 8.0 feet, At 8.0 feet, water is about 2 to 3 feet
  deep in corrals along Clear Creek. (April 8, 2023)

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 9:30 PM MDT Wednesday the stage was 7.8 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 10.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 9:30 PM MDT Wednesday was 8.1 feet.
  - Forecast...The river has crested and will fall below flood
    stage Thursday afternoon.
  - Flood stage is 5.5 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    8.1 feet on 04/09/2023.
