Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Alabama
National Weather Service Huntsville AL
108 PM CDT Tue May 14 2024

.DISCUSSION...

Numerous showers/storms and the potential for wetting rains will
occur late this afternoon and evening before dissipating overnight.
Wet fuels may make burning tough on Wednesday, though breezy NW winds
may help to dry them. Winds will become considerably lighter on
Thursday, but mixing heights above 4.5 kft should help with dispersion.
Very warm/dry weather on Thursday should make for decent burning
conditions.

Fog potential over the next few days: Patchy fog is forecast Wednesday
night into early Thursday morning.

Potential for Red Flag Conditions: None at this time.
