...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN ISLE OF WIGHT...AND
SOUTHEASTERN YORK COUNTIES...THE SOUTHERN CITY OF POQUOSON...THE CITY
OF NORFOLK...THE NORTHWESTERN CITY OF CHESAPEAKE...THE CITY OF
PORTSMOUTH...THE NORTHEASTERN CITY OF SUFFOLK...THE NORTHWESTERN CITY
OF VIRGINIA BEACH...THE CITY OF HAMPTON AND THE SOUTHERN CITY OF
NEWPORT NEWS THROUGH 1045 PM EDT...

At 938 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Smithfield, moving east at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

This strong thunderstorm will be near...
  Newport News and Rescue around 945 PM EDT.
  Hampton around 950 PM EDT.
  Hampton University, Norfolk, and Portsmouth around 955 PM EDT.
  Norfolk NAS and Fort Monroe around 1000 PM EDT.
  Ocean View around 1005 PM EDT.
  Virginia Beach around 1010 PM EDT.

Other locations impacted by this storm include Rushmere, Rudee
Heights, Carrollton, Longview, Benns Church, Princess Anne Plaza,
Huntersville, Hilton Village, Chuckatuck, and Bayside.
