...STRONG WESTERLY WINDS AND SNOW ACROSS THE EASTERN ALEUTIANS ON
WEDNESDAY...

Benign conditions across the Eastern Aleutians on Tuesday are
expected to deteriorate through the morning hours on Wednesday. A
polar low dropping southward through the Bering will bring
strengthening westerly winds as well as increasing precipitation.
Furthermore, cooler temperatures associated with the low will
promote a transition from rain to snow. Expect wind gusts as high
as 45 mph and total snow accumulations of around an inch or two.
Snow should come to an end by or before midday while gusty winds
linger into Wednesday evening.
