...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN BROOME AND WEST
CENTRAL DELAWARE COUNTIES THROUGH 315 PM EDT...

At 249 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Sanford, or near Deposit, moving east at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Sanford, Deposit, Stilesville, Cannonsville, and Oquaga Creek State
Park.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Heavy rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement
agency. They will relay your report to the National Weather Service
office in Binghamton.
