At 244 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Hartwick, or 9 miles southwest of Cooperstown, moving east at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Middlefield, Hartwick, Cooperstown, Westville, Burlington, New Lisbon, Milford, Bowerstown, Elk Creek, and Schenevus. This includes the following highway exits... Interstate 88 near 18.
