.DISCUSSION...

High pressure over Southeast Canada and low pressure over the Canadian
and Northern Rockies will result in southeast winds over the burn site
today. Light winds this morning will increase to around 10 mph at
ignition time, and then 10 to 15 mph this afternoon, continuing from the
southeast. Expect a scattered layer of low clouds around 2000 ft at ignition
time and increasing to around 4000 feet by early afternoon, it`s possible
this layer could become broken briefly, before thinning this afternoon. High
clouds will be on the increase through the afternoon. Poor smoke dispersal
this morning will improve to fair this afternoon. Mixing height at peak
heating this afternoon is expected to be around 4000 feet. The forecast high
today will be around 55 degrees with a minimum humidity of 35 to 40 percent.
