.DISCUSSION...
Today will be mild and dry, with high temperatures in the lower
to mid 70s, and humidities falling into the teens to lower 20s.
Winds will generally be light, but south to southeast winds of
10-20 mph with gusts to 25 mph, will be over fire zone 133. A few
showers will form over the western districts this evening and
tonight. More showers, with a few thunderstorms, will form
Thursday over the west. This precipitation will move into central
districts Thursday evening and overnight. A few strong storms
could form over fire zone 133 Thursday afternoon and evening.
Temperatures will cool over the western half of the area on
Thursday, with highs ranging from the mid 60s west, to mid 70s
east. Snow levels will start at around 8 thousand feet Thursday,
then fall to around 7 thousand feet Thursday night, with 2-4
inches of wet snowfall expected above the higher terrain. The
weekend looks cooler and unsettled, with a chance of showers each
day, along with mountain snowfall. TWH
