The National Weather Service in Corpus Christi has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Northwestern Duval County in south central Texas...
  Eastern Webb County in south central Texas...
  Southeastern La Salle County in south central Texas...
  Southwestern McMullen County in south central Texas...

* Until 945 PM CDT.

* At 909 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Fort Ewell
  Site, or 19 miles southeast of Cotulla, moving southeast at 30 mph.

  HAZARD...Ping pong ball size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect
           damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles.

* Locations impacted include...
  Fort Ewell Site.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Large hail, damaging wind, and continuous cloud to ground lightning
are occurring with this storm. Move indoors immediately. Lightning is
one of nature`s leading killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder,
you are close enough to be struck by lightning.
