Flurries and some narrow bands of lake effect snow showers
will linger over the Northern half of Pennsylvania through
this morning, before ending this afternoon. Elsewhere, skies
will be partly to mostly sunny.

Temperatures to start the day today will vary from the upper
teens across the Northern Mountains of the state, to around 30
degrees in the lower Susquehanna and Delaware Valleys.

Northwest winds will be significantly lighter than those on
Wednesday, with gusts only in the teens.

High temperatures this afternoon will range from the upper 20s
across the Northern Mountains to the 30s across the Central
Mountains and Laurel Highlands with lower to mid 40s respectively
from the Lower Susquehanna Valley to the Philly Metro Area. These
readings will be 10 to 15 degrees below normal for the date.

High pressure will build in from the Great Lakes and Ohio
Valley and become centered over the Commonwealth tonight,
accompanied by mainly clear skies and light wind.

Clouds will gradually increase and thicken-up late tonight
through Friday, with rain beginning over the Western Mountains
of the state Friday evening. The rain will overspread the
rest of the region Friday night and continue into Saturday
morning. The rain could mix with wet snow over the Northern Tier
counties early on Saturday morning.

Low temperatures late tonight and early Friday will range from
the mid teens to the mid 20s.
