WYOMING FRIDAY NIGHT THROUGH SATURDAY NIGHT...

...MINOR FLOODING POSSIBLE ALONG SMALL CREEKS AND STREAMS SATURDAY
AFTERNOON THROUGH SUNDAY AFTERNOON...

RAINFALL AMOUNTS IN THE LAST 3 DAYS OVER SOUTHEAST WYOMING RIVER
BASINS HAVE VARIED FROM ONE HALF INCH TO AN INCH AND A HALF. ACTIVE
SNOWMELT HAS BEEN ONGOING ALONG CREEKS AND STREAMS ACROSS SOUTHEAST
WYOMING FOR OVER A WEEK.

MODERATE RAINFALL IS EXPECTED TO START IN SOUTHEAST WYOMING FRIDAY
NIGHT AND LAST THROUGH SATURDAY NIGHT. ONE TO ONE AND A HALF INCHES
OF RAIN WILL BE POSSIBLE ACROSS DRAINAGES WITH ISOLATED AREAS OF TWO
INCHES OF RAIN OVER OROGRAPHICALLY FAVORED WATERSHEDS. AT THIS
TIME...THE HEAVIEST RAIN IS EXPECTED OVER THE LARAMIE RIVER...
LODGEPOLE CREEK...AND CROW CREEK WATERSHEDS.

RAINFALL RUNOFF COUPLED WITH SNOWMELT RUNOFF AND SATURATED SOILS WILL
ALLOW SMALL CREEKS AND STREAMS ACROSS SOUTHEAST WYOMING TO FLOW AT
HIGH LEVELS BEGINNING SATURDAY AFTERNOON.  MINOR FLOODING WILL BE
POSSIBLE ALONG SMALL STREAMS AND CREEKS SATURDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH
SUNDAY AFTERNOON.

SNOW LEVELS FRIDAY NIGHT THROUGH SATURDAY MORNING ARE STILL EXPECTED
TO BE AROUND 7500 TO 8500 FEET...DROPPING TO 5000 FEET BY EARLY
SUNDAY MORNING. ACTIVE SNOWMELT RUNOFF AND RAINFALL RUNOFF WILL
DRASTICALLY SLOW DOWN BY EARLY SUNDAY MORNING.

LOCAL RAINFALL RUNOFF COULD CAUSE THE LARAMIE RIVER AT LARAMIE TO
RISE TO NEAR BANKFULL BY SATURDAY NIGHT. MINOR FLOODING WILL BE
POSSIBLE WITH BANKFULL CONDITIONS ALONG THE LARAMIE RIVER. LODGEPOLE
AND CROW CREEKS MAY RUN AT OR NEAR BANKFULL BY SATURDAY NIGHT.

A FLOOD WATCH MAY BE ISSUED FRIDAY IF PRECIPITATION AMOUNTS
CONTINUE TO INCREASE.
