  West Fork Des Moines River at Humboldt affecting Humboldt County.

  East Fork Des Moines River near Algona affecting Humboldt and
  Kossuth Counties.

...The Flood Warning is cancelled for the following rivers in Iowa...

  Des Moines River at Des Moines SE 6th St affecting Polk County.

  Raccoon River at Des Moines Fleur Dr affecting Polk County.

.The threat of flooding in the Des Moines metro area has subsided
for the time being, based on rainfall projections through today and
tonight.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood

* IMPACTS...At 11.0 feet, Water affects lowland areas near the river
  and threatens residences along the river in Fort Dodge.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 10:00 AM CDT Wednesday the stage was 10.5 feet and rising.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 11.3
    feet early Friday afternoon. It will then fall below flood
    stage Monday morning.
  - Flood stage is 10.5 feet.

  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    this afternoon to a crest of 10.6 feet Friday morning. It
    will then fall below flood stage Monday morning.
  - Flood stage is 10.0 feet.

* IMPACTS...At 17.0 feet, US 169 south of Algona is threatened and
  some rural roads flood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 10:15 AM CDT Wednesday the stage was 16.8 feet and rising.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    tomorrow evening to a crest of 17.1 feet early Friday
    morning. It will then fall below flood stage Saturday
    evening.
  - Flood stage is 17.0 feet.
