...A SPECIAL MARINE WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 400 PM EDT...

For the following areas...
Lake Huron from Port Austin to Harbor Beach 5NM Off Shore to the
US/Canadian border...
Port Austin to Harbor Beach MI...

At 332 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms capable of producing waterspouts
were located along a line extending from 7 nm west of Central Lake
Huron Buoy to 18 nm north of Harbor Beach to 7 nm east of Port Hope,
moving east at 30 knots.

HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts 34 knots or greater.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally
         hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly
         higher winds and suddenly higher waves.

Severe thunderstorms will remain over mainly open waters.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Move to safe harbor until hazardous weather passes.
