...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN MERRICK...
SOUTHEASTERN HOWARD AND NORTHERN HALL COUNTIES THROUGH 430 PM CDT...

At 345 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Wood River, or 11 miles west of Grand Island, moving northeast at 30
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

This strong thunderstorm will be near...
  Grand Island around 400 PM CDT.

Other locations in the path of this storm include St. Libory.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 700 PM CDT for south central
and central Nebraska.
