This hazardous weather outlook is for eastern Utah and western
Colorado.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

An approaching cold front will move through this evening and
overnight bringing one to three inches of snow to the northern
and central mountains. Before that happens though, gusty winds
are expected across the area today reaching 30 to 40 mph for most
areas. The valleys of northwest Colorado, southeast Utah and
portions of west-central Colorado will see gusts reaching 45 mph
or greater at times with Douglas Pass seeing gusts to 60 mph this
afternoon through early evening. Therefore, a wind advisory has
been issued for these areas.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday

The cold front will shift to the east by Saturday morning giving
way to clearing skies. High temperatures will be 5 to 10 degrees
cooler than normal. By Sunday, high pressure will build in again
bringing a return to dry and warm conditions for much of next
week.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be needed.
