...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT EAST CENTRAL AUSTIN...SOUTHERN
WALLER AND NORTHWESTERN HARRIS COUNTIES THROUGH 600 PM CDT...

At 525 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7
miles north of Pattison, or 9 miles north of Brookshire, moving east
at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Katy, Tomball, Jersey Village, Addicks Park Ten, Spring Branch North,
Spring Branch West, Hockley, San Felipe, Pattison, Spring Branch
Central, Westbranch, Fairbanks / Northwest Crossing, Willowbrook,
Cypress, Carverdale, Langwood, Spring Branch East, and Monaville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement
agency. They will relay your report to the National Weather Service
office in League City.
