The National Weather Service in Huntsville Alabama has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Northern Jackson County in northeastern Alabama...

* Until 530 AM CDT.

* At 441 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Skyline, or
  15 miles north of Scottsboro, moving east-southeast at 45 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Scottsboro, Bridgeport, Stevenson, Hollywood, Skyline, Pisgah,
  Hytop, Bass, Martintown, and Princeton.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1000 AM CDT for north central
and northeastern Alabama...and Middle Tennessee.
