...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 600 AM CDT
FOR CENTRAL PEORIA COUNTY...
At 545 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Brimfield to near Hanna City, moving northeast at
40 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
These severe storms will be near...
Peoria, Bellevue, Dunlap, and Peoria International Airport around
550 AM CDT.
Edelstein around 600 AM CDT.
Other locations impacted by these severe thunderstorms include
Norwood, Kickapoo, Jubilee College State Park, and Alta.
This includes the following highways...
Interstate 474 between mile markers 0 and 5.
Interstate 74 between mile markers 76 and 89.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 800 AM CDT for central
Illinois.
Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
