Fire Weather Planning Forecast For Extreme Southeast Arkansas,
Northeast Louisiana, and Central Mississippi

.DISCUSSION...A cold front will bring strong/severe storms across
the area later this evening and tonight moving west to east.
Strong southeasterly winds are expected tonight with sustained
winds around 25 mph with gusts up to 40 mph. Heavy rainfall is
expected with these storms. Storms will clear the area early
Tuesday morning. Dry conditions will prevail across the forecast
area on Tuesday and winds will shift from the north heading into
Wednesday. MinRHs will drop to the 25 to 30% range later in the
week, however the light winds and moist fuels will keep fire
danger low. Fog is not anticipated at this time.
