Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Kentucky
National Weather Service Jackson KY
500 AM EDT Mon May 6 2024

.DISCUSSION...Multiple rounds of showers and storms are
expected across the area through the end of the week, as
a series of low pressure systems move through the region.
The best times for storms each day will be during the
afternoon and evening periods, when peak heating will be
occurring and instability will be maximized. Some storms
could produce severe weather Tuesday afternoon and evening.
The repeated rounds of rain and high humidity will keep
the risk of wildfires extremely low through at least
Thursday.
