THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF WESTERN AND
NORTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

DRY AND BREEZY CONDITIONS...WILL LEAD TO EXTREME FIRE DANGER TODAY
ACROSS WESTERN AND NORTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA. FOR LOCATION EAST OF
HIGHWAY 183 FROM SPRINGVIEW TO ANSLEY...NEAR CRITICAL FIRE DANGER
IS EXPECTED DUE TO A COMBINATION OF GUSTY NORTHERLY WINDS AND
MINIMUM RELATIVE HUMIDITIES RANGING FROM 20 TO 25 PERCENT.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY.

ON TUESDAY...A BROAD TROUGH OF LOW PRESSURE WILL DEEPEN ACROSS THE
ROCKIES. A LEAD DISTURBANCE WILL PUSH INTO THE HIGH PLAINS TUESDAY
AFTERNOON AND TUESDAY NIGHT...LEADING TO AN INCREASED THREAT FOR
THUNDERSTORMS TUESDAY AFTERNOON AND TUESDAY NIGHT. AT THIS
TIME...STRONG STORMS WITH GUSTY WINDS HAIL ARE POSSIBLE ALONG AND
WEST OF HIGHWAY 61 FROM MERRIMAN TO IMPERIAL.

ON WEDNESDAY...THE MAIN UPPER LEVEL TROUGH OF LOW PRESSURE WILL
EJECT EAST OF THE ROCKIES. AS THIS FEATURE COMBINES WITH A STRONG
COLD FRONT AND GULF MOISTURE...THUNDERSTORMS WILL DEVELOP IN THE
VICINITY OF THE COLD FRONT. AT THIS TIME...THE GREATEST THREAT FOR
SEVERE STORMS IS ALONG AND EAST OF A LINE FROM AINSWORTH...TO
NORTH PLATTE...TO HAYES CENTER. LARGE HAIL AND DAMAGING WINDS WILL
BE THE MAIN SEVERE THREATS.

IN ADDITION TO SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS...WARM TEMPERATURES AND LOW
RELATIVE HUMIDITIES ARE POSSIBLE WHICH WILL LEAD TO EXTREME TO
NEAR CRITICAL FIRE DANGER WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON. AT THIS TIME...THE
MAIN AREA OF CONCERN IS ALONG AND WEST OF HIGHWAY 61 FROM MERRIMAN
TO IMPERIAL.

AFTER WEDNESDAY NIGHT...THE THREAT FOR HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS LOW.
