THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF WESTERN AND
NORTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT.

NO HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY.

ON TUESDAY...A BROAD TROUGH OF LOW PRESSURE WILL DEEPEN ACROSS THE
NORTHERN ROCKIES...WITH A DRYLINE TO FORM SOUTH ON THE HIGH PLAINS. A
LEAD DISTURBANCE WILL LIFT ACROSS THE HIGH PLAINS LATE TUESDAY
AFTERNOON...LEADING TO AN INCREASED CHANCE FOR ISOLATED HIGH BASED
THUNDERSTORMS DURING THE EVENING AND OVERNIGHT. WHILE SEVERE
THUNDERSTORMS ARE NOT EXPECTED...A FEW STRONG STORMS MAY PRODUCE
GUSTY WINDS AND SMALL HAIL IN AREAS ALONG AND WEST OF HIGHWAY 61
FROM MERRIMAN TO IMPERIAL.

WEDNESDAY...THERE IS A SLIGHT RISK FOR SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS ALONG
AND EAST OF HIGHWAY 281...FROM NORTH OF SPENCER TO THE SOUTH OF
BARTLETT. THE MAIN UPPER LEVEL TROUGH OF LOW PRESSURE WILL EJECT
EAST OF THE ROCKIES AND AS THIS FEATURE COMBINES WITH A STRONG
COLD FRONT AND GULF MOISTURE...THUNDERSTORMS WILL DEVELOP IN THE
VICINITY OF THE COLD FRONT. LARGE HAIL AND DAMAGING WINDS WILL BE
THE MAIN SEVERE THREATS. IN THE EVENT THE COLD FRONT SLOWS DOWN
THE AREA FOR STORM DEVELOPMENT MAY SHIFT WESTWARD ON WEDNESDAY.

AS THE CHANCE FOR THUNDERSTORMS INCREASE THE FIRE DANGER LINGERS.
ON WEDNESDAY...WARM TEMPERATURES AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITIES MAY
COMBINE TO RAISE THE FIRE DANGER WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON AS SURFACE
WINDS INCREASE ACROSS WESTERN NEBRASKA.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

SPOTTER ACTIVATION WILL NOT BE NEEDED THROUGH TONIGHT.
