This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of western and
north central Nebraska.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT.

Hazardous weather is not expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY.

A Red Flag Warning is in effect Thursday afternoon and early
evening for portions of southwest Nebraska for gusty winds to 25
mph and low relative humidity.

A frontal boundary draped across western Nebraska will be the
focus for a few strong to severe thunderstorms Friday afternoon
and evening. The area of concern will be for areas east of a line
from Cody through Chappell. Damaging wind gusts and large hail
will be possible in addition to areas of heavy rainfall.

A nearly stationary front will result in periods of moderate to
heavy rainfall Friday evening through Sunday night. Showers and
thunderstorms will contain areas of heavy rainfall during this
time. Significant rainfall totals are possible.
