WINTER STORM WATCH HAS BEEN ISSUED FOR PORTIONS OF THE SANDHILLS
AND NORTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA.

THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF WESTERN AND
NORTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT.

AREAS OF FOG ARE EXPECTED TO DEVELOP TONIGHT ACROSS WESTERN AND
NORTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA. VISIBILITIES MAY BE REDUCED TO A HALF MILE
AT TIMES.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY.

AREAS OF FOG ARE EXPECTED TO LINGER THROUGH SUNDAY MORNING ACROSS
PORTIONS OF WESTERN AND NORTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA. VISIBILITY MAY
LOWER TO A HALF MILE AT TIMES THROUGH MID MORNING.

A STRONG STORM SYSTEM WILL DEEPEN OVER THE SOUTHERN AND CENTRAL PLAINS
SUNDAY INTO MONDAY. RAIN...SNOW...GUSTY NORTHERLY WIND AND
POSSIBLY A BRIEF PERIOD OF FREEZING RAIN OR SLEET IS EXPECTED
WITH THIS SYSTEM SUNDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING AS IT TRACKS
NORTHEAST ACROSS THE PLAINS.

SNOW IS EXPECTED SUNDAY NIGHT AND INTO MONDAY OVER MUCH OF THE
FORECAST AREA AS THE STORM EJECTS TO THE NORTHEAST TOWARD THE MID
MISSOURI VALLEY. MODERATE TO HEAVY SNOW ACCUMULATIONS WITH AREAS
OF BLOWING SNOW WILL BE POSSIBLE. BASED ON THE LATEST FORECAST
GUIDANCE...LOCATIONS ALONG AND SOUTHEAST OF A LINE FROM OGALLALA
TO VALENTINE...HAVE THE GREATEST CHANCE IN SEEING HEAVY
ACCUMULATING SNOW LATE SUNDAY INTO MONDAY. ALL LOCAL INTERESTS...INCLUDING
THOSE TRAVELING ACROSS WESTERN AND NORTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA SUNDAY
THROUGH MONDAY SHOULD CONTINUE TO MONITOR THE LATEST FORECASTS AND
STATEMENTS PERTAINING TO THIS WINTER STORM.
