THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF WESTERN AND
NORTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT.

LIGHT SNOW WILL BE POSSIBLE THROUGH THIS EVENING, MAINLY NORTH OF
INTERSTATE 80 WITH 1 TO 2 INCHES OF ACCUMULATION POSSIBLE IN THE
CENTRAL AND NORTHERN SANDHILLS. SOME SNOW PACKED ROADS ARE
POSSIBLE, BUT WIDESPREAD TRAVEL IMPACTS ARE NOT LIKELY. COLD
TEMPERATURES ARE EXPECTED OVERNIGHT AND INTO EARLY FRIDAY MORNING
WHICH WILL LEAD TO WIND CHILLS APPROACHING -20 IN PARTS OF
NORTHWEST NEBRASKA.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY.

ACCUMULATING SNOWFALL IS LIKELY SUNDAY NIGHT AND MONDAY MAINLY
ALONG AND SOUTH OF A LINE FROM OGALLALA TO ONEILL. THE
TRACK...EVOLUTION AND IMPACT OF THE STORM SYSTEM WILL BE BETTER
UNDERSTOOD LATER THIS WEEK.

COLD WEATHER WILL CONTINUE THE THREAT FOR ICE JAMMING ON RIVERS
THROUGHOUT WESTERN AND NORTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA. ICE JAMS AND MINOR
FLOODING COULD DEVELOP ALONG THE NORTH PLATTE RIVER ABOVE AND
BELOW LAKE MCCONAUGHY.
