This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of western and
north central Nebraska.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

Thunderstorms are possible throughout western and north central
Nebraska this afternoon and evening, mainly starting late
afternoon. There is a slight risk for severe thunderstorms east
of Nebraska Highway 61. Large hail and damaging wind gusts up to
60 MPH are the primary hazards. However, a brief isolated tornado
cannot be ruled out. The threat for severe weather will diminish
after Midnight. Tonight locally heavy rainfall is also possible.

Elevated fire weather conditions are expected this afternoon over
the southern portion of the eastern Nebraska Panhandle and
portions of southwest Nebraska. South winds up to 20 mph with
minimum relative humidity between 15 and 25 percent are expected.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY.

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.
