This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of western and north
central Nebraska.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Mild temperatures, dry air, and a light breeze will combine to create
elevated fire weather conditions this afternoon.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

A powerful springtime storm system will cross the Great Plains
Wednesday through Thursday, bringing rain, snow, and strong winds to
the region. Fairly significant moisture totals are possible toward
central Nebraska, while potential for accumulating snow is greater
for western Nebraska. Northerly winds will gust above 40 mph at times
on Thursday. This system may evolve quickly, which could result in
drastic changes to timing, placement, and amounts of the snow.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is not expected at this time.
